    We have had loads of discussion on this one. The general consensus was surf = 1810kgs
    Max safe towing = 1500kgs ish (looking around 85% of truck weight) that would be for a braked trailer like a caravan or horse box etc. I don't know what % to use for unbraked,,

      Unbraked trailers are 750 Kg max. Unless you have a smaller car, then it gets lower as unbraked trailers have to less than half the cars curb weight

          I'd take a edumaked guess at 120kgish, hard to find out any details ATM.

            Average towing nose weights for caravans is 70 kg.... The cheapist way to measure this is to use a set of bathroom scales and a cut down broom handle poked into the hitch socket......

              The maximum nose weight suggested on my Towbar was 50kg - I think it is a Watling.
              If life's an uphill struggle then downhill from now on can't be that bad?!
