  • Any computer buffs out there???

    Does anyone know how to make a WAV sound file into a MP3 file?? can it be done??

    Yes can be done easily with the right tools, something like:
    http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
    Which has free 30 day trial I think.

    Probably a million and one other tools out there too.
    No longer a Surf owner.

      I use 'real time', and when you export tunes, you can select a new export format.

        or simple apps available for download - Google " WAV to MP3 " 100's of them

          There appears to be several serious computer buffs on here. Problem is You ask a question in English, They answer it in some language of their own, which is worse to translate than gobbledeygook. You ask sometime to translate it for you, and they just reguritate in another untelligble language.

          Thats my experience anyway.

            Im a bit of a geek ! in the nicest way . grew up doing PC support - server support - instalation manager - It manager ( small office ) now an applicatios designer for the MOD ( Shhhh its secret ! )

            But at all times when talking to non geeky people i try to talk normal , and explain it in layman terms . I aint no speccy **** covered in spots ....

            Ahh come on someone who's met me can vouch for me ...cant you ?????????

              Same here I do some part time IT support for a private school and its much better to say things simple. or at least try... if that fails then spout all the rubbish you like
