Ok , I'm a divot ! got my date's mixed up , I meant to say 4th December , it's a sunday.

I've been asking at the pub , the Grange is good, large lounge area and they also do food. The Spyglass is more of a restaurant with only a small lounge area, so I'd suggest the grange.

No need to book tables either at the grange, we can just invade it !

I was thinking about 5pm onwards as it isn't too busy then and you can get the good seats and settle in for the evening.

For the people wanting to get here a little earlier , may be a poss open house at my place if the missis will let me.

I've provisionally booked a table for 20, just got to let them know nearer the time on exact numbers.
Table's booked for 7:00pm (restaurant doesn't open till 6:30), but the bar's open all day.

3 coarse xmas menu with all the trimmings, there is also a veggie option and fish option.
They even throw in balloons and crackers !
Works out at £15.00 per head.
