Hi mate I think your the man I need to talk to about my surf. I think that the head has gone on it. It is overheating, water pouring out the overflow and whistling like a boiling kettle. I've had a new thermostat + water pump fitted and it's been checked for air locks, but still it does the same, so the only thing I can think of is that the head is cracked. Although one of my mates thinks it might just be the gasket that needs replacing I'm not convinced.
Anyway when it comes to head probs I hear that your the man to talk to. I've seen your prices and I have to say I'd rather pay you than anyone else I've got prices from, but I was wondering do you travel to fit or would I need to get it to you in stockport, as I don't think it would make it to motherwell from glasgow never mind stockport? There seems to be a distinct lack of surf specialists in scotland and would rather get somebody who knows what they're doing to do the job, aswell as someboby who has done it before.

    head problem

Hello Paul, give me a call on 0161 476 6144 to discuss your problem, search on this site and check all the easier bits first, eg rad cap, t/stat.
    Cheers, Steve

Cheers for getting back to me Steve, I'll phone you tomorrow as it's a little late now
I have changed the thermostat and water pump as well as the radiator cap. thats what leads me to think it must be the head, but I'm no expert
