Grey and Paralell

I was sifting through some online quotes today and was asked if my vehicle was a grey or paralell import. Anyone know what the difference between the two is?

parallel.. europe thro main again. such as car supermarkets

yours will be grey. but if you get a burgundy one it will be quicker

Also, Parallel is UK spec, the insurance/dealers have no excuses, Grey import gives the insurance clowns a chance to up the premium and the dealers to deny any knowledge of it.
