Can any of you folks who have sent parts via a carrier tell me the cheapest option of sending a Thule ski rack, and roughly what it will cost me??
Thanks, Pete

if its something heavy ish I usually go with Royal mail parcels, tends to be the cheapest option ive found. otherwise the absolute cheapest option is to work for a bigish company then put it in with the post when no one is looking.... works a treat. charge your buyer £10 and your sitting pretty with a smug grin...
Ive shipped big stuff using Parcel2Go , they have quite a high weight and size limit and it costs 8.99 I think. even if its bigger , just give them a call and they give you the price www.Parcel2Go.com

big things try palletline or any good hub service
i can get anything
del next day to places with a forklift
(12.50 extra taillift)
for about 50 quid
max weight 1.2 ton
max height 1.5 meters
max 120/100 (40/48 imperial) pallet size
needs to be on pallet
and you have to have a way of getting it on a lorry
(scotland 2 day service)
great service if you can get aroung the logistics
royal mail is the cheapest form of gambling i know of
not to be confused with palletways... anything worth nicking will get nicked...
