Do you mean the difference between a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen?
3rd gens are from 1996 onwards, and have a lift up rear door, like a hatchback, 2nd gens have the fold down rear door.
oh, and I think they're all 3.0 and above. 3rd gens that is.
