Well, erm, I love it. I hate it. I love it. Oh, I don't know.

I know I shouldn't swear on here but IBC (Who build Bedford/Vauxhall trucks) have a Fronte*a Pickup. It is a one-off. It rolled off the production line and the roof got dinked so the mantainence guy talked them into chopping the back off.
They now use it as a light weight fire tender.
      It's only a hobby!

Not bad, but it should have been done so that the midgate opens somehow I think.

We have all thought about it, but .............................. ....... it would take a brave Angle Grinder Man to do it.

? did the rear window motor die....

The side profile looks coooool, but unless I have missed the point you now have lost the ability to carry long big loads by dropping the seats and then keeping it all secure inside. I would buy a trailer and get the best of both worlds..... Then again I suppose you could extend the roof rack and have a couple of supporting uprights in the boot

its either a ###e job, or its not finished!
                      it needs;-
a whole shed full of checkerplate,
the bit removed turning into a lift off hard top,
the scabby bits where the pillars were cut sorting out,
                      top of the tailgate sorting
as said the new bulkhead needs a dropdown section,
and of course usual routine stuff, lift wheels winch bumper et al
                      it's in me shed, mate.

Im sure you could do it better

If I was to do it , I would want a removable hardtop so it could be secure.

                          Mark.

Yea i think it looks pretty good.
I would think about getting it done too but mainly to make it easier to chop about a foot of the ****py overhang off the back.

Did anyone spot the deliberate mistakes in the vehicle description:

Super Select 4WD - must be confusing this car with a P*jero?
ABS- err....not on this on mate!

Appart from that- it would be cool if done properly. Come on Tony, get a prototype into production!

I just rang the guy selling it to find out who did the conversion, apparently the previous owner did it themself.
