Just got back from a two week trip to Zimbabwe. Plenty of Surfs in a land dominated by pickups... I even saw one with an advert for a UK dealer on the tyre cover
Most were in pretty terrible condition, but I did see a couple of gems. There's a thriving black market for fuel as all the petrol stations are closed. Even with the price of fuel on the up - it's cheaper than using veg oil out there!
While out there I was driving a LWB Pajero, which did handle pretty well off road and wasn't too bad on the tarmac. Having said that, I still couldn't wait to get back to my beloved Surf!
