Sad Day !

It was a sad day yesterday, my trusty 2.4 ssr ltd i have owned for 3 years had to go ! ........ to make way for my new 3rd gen . Really happy with thew new truck totaly different form the old one, harder ride etc, but the power wow wot a difference !!, just hoping it will be as reliable as my old one.

Sounds like his 2.4L was really really reliable then.

Yeah it was !, only thing i had replaced (apart from service items) was a rocker cover gasket, not bad going in 3 years had 177,000 kilometers on the clock.

A good lesson for anyone who thinks that 2.4s are automatically unreliable and have dodgy heads - not all of them do.
