    one of my red rear lights has stopped working... i think the filament in the bulb would be the probable cause but does anyone have any better ideas before i call the AA out to have a look?

    Have you tried a lump hammer,
    if that fails call the RAC

      You'd better let your insurance company know of any modifications first.

          Sounds to me like it's beyond economical repair. Cut you losses and buy a new Surf
