3000cc Intercooler or standard engine?

I am about to place an order for a 1996 Hilux Surf SSR-G. Can anyone please tell me the differences between the intercooled engine and standard engine (e.g. performance and MPG). Which would you go for?

ID go for an intercooler, about another 30hp i think (or maybe torque)

ssrg intercooler or not

power diffrences is 10 bhp not a lot but makes a big diffrence on pick, up my worst mpg has been 25 best 30 surf really goes well and leaves uk trucks standing going up hills and accelerates really well without any strain on engine ,It is posssible to accelerate to about 63 mph without ever going over 2000rpm i choose the intercooler ssrg model if you are doing it pick the best or you will always be wishing you had p.s look for one with sunroof nice and big no need to run climate control all summer good luck and you are buying a great vechicle whatever one you choose
