Did you know, and I can't remember where I saw it now, somebody done some research in to the quickest possible time to exchange contracts, and it was TWO weeks!
Is was all done via email and courier.

wouldn't it be good if all sales could go that easy.i have just put this house on the market and got the solicitors to do all the searches now to save the buyer doing it and to speed things up if i get a buyer that is
The house I'm living in now was a vacant possesion, the previous owners had moved into a retirement home, we were living in a private rented house, so no 'chain' to worry about, but it still took SIX weeks before we could move in!
The House we are buying is now empty but we will get the Key early when contracts are exchanged so we can move some stuff in.
Our sale did not include appliances but our buyer insisted on her final offer so we said yes. Stoves. 8 gas burner 2 oven range cooker, Fridge, Freezer & Washer dryer Stainless steel cooker hood. Luckily the House we are Buying are leaving there appliances to help us out.
