after all this time the problem's back. Got new batteries etc and had no probs for ages until today - not cold here at all.
turned key 'Click' goes the noise and after lots of trys, give up and give the starter motor a thump - turn key and she starts! looks like the starter motor is finally giving up!

What happened...?
I had the same problem for the first time this morning! Turn the key wait for the beep NOTHING turn the key off and on again wait for the beep FIRED UP. Let me know what happened mate as it might save me a bit of time and money...Originally posted by Draig

new starter motor - and if you replace the whole unit - get the smaller-sized one from Roughtrax as the original is a pig to get out - I really don't know how those japanese shoehorn so much stuff into a small place!DaveComment
