The other prob I've found with the 3.0 is that they seem to be more difficult to find insurance for?

I've never had any probs with either 2.4 or 3.0 or any other imported Hilux surf or 4 runner insurance wise. Do a search on here for insurance companies.

Not allways mine wasn't Tiz now tho!!!!!!!!

The head can go on any car.... 2.4 2nd gens have a known fault that makes it more likely. Generally 3.0 are head trouble free.
