Is it me, or does everyone on this forum suddenly want to sell their Surfs??

I know they cost the earth to run, but hold out as long as you can. Otherwise the people that are left owning one will be left with a truck that's worth next to nothing as the market will be flooded with Surfs, then that would be a sad day.

I hope you lot are going to hang onto your Surfs? I'm starting to feel a bit lonely, looking at all those for sale ads.

It costs the earth to run compared to........
Mines cheaper to insure and run compared to my car which was a 2.5 V6, parts are also cheaper.
So depending on what you compare it to

I must admit, I did then leave the thread and compare running costs to my honda.

                Fuel consumption:
                23-27mpg (Optimax / Super Unleaded)

                Tyres:
                90-130 Per corner

                Insurance:
Group 14 basic..but with modifications for track use, that soon rises..

Do not get me started on the cost of parts, be they OEM from Honda (£500 for a standard new clutch, anyone?)

All of which means that compared to my little honda hatchback, the surf should be a well earned rest for the pocket!! (..whilst the civic remains a drain as it is rebuilt...)

you know Chilitt...buying a surf is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman (yeah yeah "what, you mean you've never done it before?" very clever well done...) you have to find the right partner, then there's a lot of fumbling around in the dark trying to put into practice all those things you've read about, but in the end all the work pays off...you get to hand over your money and go home.

                        .....just me again?
