Been looking at getting a 4WD for some time finally took the plunge and got a surf 3.0 ssrx M reg auto.She is lovely. done just under 60k.

As this is my first "truck" I may be asking a few questions in the future please treat me gently.

PS she is is Blue which I am led to believe is is the fastest

Ah - a common misconception, generally perpetuated by owners of blue Surfs.
The fastest ones are, in fact, burgundy.

the only reason you lot wont sdmit that grey ones are the fastest is cos the stealth paint means you cant get accurate speed readings from them..

The best coulour has nothing to do with the paint - it has to MUD coloured

ignore all the philistines, as it hapens for a newbie you are absolutly perfectly well informed as to the superior colour - just a few things to add to the list
fastest - but not reckless
smartest -goes for the owners too
modest - dito
most style - even a blind man could see that!
best contrast to mud - a bonus
the magic of the colour increases fuel economy
and us blue owners also have a 2 stage permenant smile, 1st the standard surf grin (worn by all owners) and 2nd, that extra little something- some would wrongly think it as a superior 'air' but it is the smile of sympathy to those 'other colour' owners.
If I may be so bold, can I offer just a little advice - We know the truth, our trucks doooo look sooooo much better, dont lower yourself to the others level and take the p1ss out of them - they know no better - since I joined the forum I have tried to be like a sort of missionary, bringing education to these poor lost souls, I am so pleased that there is now one more to join the clan
