Hilux Surf beats Nissan Patrol

According to the Sun (page 27), a surf owner and a patrol owner (total strangers) roped their cars together and to see who can drag who.

The Toyota won but in the process they damaged a parked car and one of the driver got fired when his boss heard what they had done.....

Pretty funny, but pretty stupid .....

Be interesting to know what engine that the Patrol had - 3.0 Diesel or the Old 4.2 that would pull down trees with ease (but not very quickly).

Just goes to prove though that Surfs are not underpowered.

I knew someone once with a 4.2 Patrol and he could pull away in every gear!
He also various broken bits like leaf springs etc and still kept driving it for work. Lol
