        just weld a piece of tube into the cross over pipe from the turbo to inlet manifold and attach valve using a silicon hose.job done.

              something to do with cheese... and releasing pressure so the turbo does somat or other... don't think it wil make much difference on a surf.

                Does exactly wot it says on the tin . It dumps all that lovely built up turbo pressure when the throttle is shut . On a petrol engine it is debated that it stops the turbo from stalling due to sudden back pressure . On a diesel it is not such a prob , most recon you want the turbo pressure not dump it as the engine then has to build it back up again so you could in fact make your Surf slower .

                  As above, but dump valves are only worth it on very high performance petrol engines. Besides which our's are mainly auto's so therefore discounts the idea as there's allways constant drive and no gear change.
