i don't talk to my cat cos he's black.
had a dog called pup, when we got another we called him pup so the older one was then called big pup!
had a cat called jimmy cos my grandad called everyone jimmy!
got a gourami fish called heidi, cos it hides a lot (others don't have names!)

and incidentally, my sister's named after a blue peter dog!

Our past cat names have been...

Thomas (Shelley liked it), Chip (I named her cos she looked and acted like a chipmonk), Hobie (as in Hobie Cat ( A make of Catamaran I had for a while)), Grommet (a little surfer) and finally Charlie, (Shelleys turn again)

Fred is about 28 years old I guess, he's totally blind, but is still boss of the other two. (Fred is the whitish one) He has outlived countless generations of friends...

And I forgot to mention the tortoises earlier - Max (maximillian - a type of tank cause he is), Carla - cause we found her while driving in the car, Flash Gordon - cause he's the fastest ever tortoise, and Bobby (no idea why my sis named him)

why not lock them in the back of the Surf. Half a loaf of bread and a bowl of water, frighten any theif away. Two birds with one stone I think.

how about flog um to local farmer as scarecrows, that way if you miss um you can drive round feild in the SURF.
