how do i complain to ebay?... this is what happened...

    i bid up to £171.97
next bloke bid up to £200
    winner bid £205

the £200 bid was cancelled by the seller as he had no feedback score
so the winner should have got the item for £173.97... in which case i would have bid up to £200 anyway, but the other fella bidding had already taken it up to that!...

    damn!... it's annoying!

don't think it's right that because of a potential scammer, the other buyer has had to spend an extra £30!! and the seller has missed out on genuine bids!
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

Easy to complain, but pointless they will do absolutely nothing.
I complained about a seller cancelling bids because the price did not go high enough, no reserve, E Bay replied that the seller can sell to whoever they want and nothing can be done - And then they had the cheek to ask me for feedback on their response. Boy did I give it to them
Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

I know what you mean there You can complain, but IMHO you won't get anywhere as has been said already,

            Ebay

Well Ive looked but never joined up. How can you have a feedback score if you are new, yet everyone seems to want and expect one. First time ever my daughter sold something on ebay she got negative feedback basically because the buyer had no patience. Daughter was busy at work and failed to respond to buyer in two days, buyer decided, based on that , that she didnt have the goods. I just couldnt be **sed with it all. Ive bought stuff from the small ads in the evening paper with no feedback scores, so I,ll just give ebay a miss. Im sure its a wonderful thing but all that nonsense is not for me

                  Trouble at Ebay.

I also had big problems with Ebay, when i went to see goods i had won, they were not as described. After getting no where for 2 months and being blocked from using Ebay, i rang Ebay in USA and told receptionist, i was going for a job at Ebay in Richmond, London, (where they have an office.) but i was running late and needed there phone number, which she promptly gave me. After speaking to girl there and telling her how upset i was, she sorted it all out for me in few days.
If i find number, i will post it, as they do not like you ringing up everyday, so tend to sort problem out quicker.
                  Rgds Philip

That number would be very handy.

I bought a playstation, and when it arrived it was in bits.It was advertised as mint but it was trash. All I.D. labels had been removed and it was clear to see that it had been opened up at some point.

The sellar said there was nothing wrong with it and refused a refund,so i complained to Paypal. They did freeze his ebay account, and after an investigation said i was to receive a refund from the seller, but this took 3 and a half months and 32 emails to sort.
