  • trip to newquay

got back from newquay last night and all i got to say is why didnt i buy a surf before now.
cruises 80-90 and has still given me an average of 26mpg.
anyone else got 500km from their tank and still waiting for the light to come on!
another thing, i need some tyres and was wondering if anyone would recomend colway at's as they are a re-tread.
as i have just shelled out £7000 for the truck i aint got much reddies left and a set of these will cost only £200

I've had Colway's M/Ts for nearly a year now and no probs.
Here's a few more satisfied customers.

nothing wrong with the fuel gauge light, already had it on twice on previous fill ups.

think i might go for the colways, shame they aint got white lettering though

just had a quote of £188 from sowden tyres for 4 colway AT's. sounds good to me.

thats almost half ya would pay for bridgestones with the same tread pattern.

been looking at all the threads on here and there aint any negative about these tyres so i think me gonna get some and attempt the lettering myself.
used to do graphic design so already got a steady hand. dont know about the tipex though!

Thats the same price as I paid.
I white lettered mine with one of those paint pens that car dissmantlers use to mark their parts, they need re-doing tho' after a couple of s****es with the curbs while parking.
