I know its a tricky subject! But as I said I'm just contemplating. It seems to be a competitor for the 3rd gen which i'm also looking at. A comparison would be useful.
I think some one on here before told us a story about his builder.
The builder had a surf and his son a challenger, the boot in the challenger was not as big and you could not put the seats down. Also he had to pay more to cross the severn bridge because its considered a commercial vehicle.

i dont think the challenger took off as well as they thought it would.

I believe that it's a L200 pick up with a estate body much like
the hilux / surf
I have driven the L200 Warrior and it's not a patch on my 91'
2.4 td more power far quiter engin
Very noisy ,unrefined ( motor that is not the driver ) looks
good drives rubish.
Book a test drive then look for a good 3 gen Surf
Just my oppinion for what it's worth
