now that brings back very fond memories. we used to have Kestrels, buzzard and a barn owl - I still love them.
I've always loved them and Tony bought me a day at the Hawk conservancy as my birthday pressie this year. Laura was my bird for the day and I took her for a walk, flew her, fed her etc etc.

I was talking to a guy a few weeks ago who flies an eagle that he imported from central europe somewhere. He reckoned they use the females (which are bigger) for hunting deer in their native country. Imagine one of those landing on your arm
