have just yaken this from a previous thread

Iv'e seen plenty of threads that say a Toyota Corolla rear door window motor is the same as the Surf tailgate window motor so there is a good chance that other Toyota motors will fit. If you have the motor out why not take it to a s****py and for comparison and see what they come up with

Also the n/s door motors from surfs will fit, they are exactly the same, but has to be the near side ones.

Thanks guys for the info. I got a new motor from my wifes friend who is the manager at the local toyota garage, bit of a result only cost 20 quid more than a second hand one from a s****py.
