  • Veg oil / insurance

Hia all, just been browsing the site www. veg-oil-car.com forum and came across a thing i never thought of. When converting your car to run on veg oil you must tell your insurance company about it. Because it is classed as a modification, and some people have been refused insurance because of the conversion. Any one thought about this ? Take care, Alf

not if you haven't modified it.

if you're adding extra tanks and heaters etc then that would be seen as a modification to the fuel system... pour anything you like in the tank a can't see where the modifiction is?
... mind you... i don't suppose they'd like it if you started running a petrol motor on methanol!
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!
