Ok. I was unaware that there was a switch on the interior, i had assumed that it was operated manually.

As far as I am aware all windows in a surf are electric, as far as Hippo is concerned, so are the 4 door locks.

I have a 96 model (third gen) which has an electric window, and a cut out/isolator switch. Then I also have a manual window winder off a commercial vehicle. This allow the people sitting in the additional rearward facing seats in the trunk area to operate the rear window and shout at their followers behind. The tailgate is low on this car. I am well over six feet tall and when the door is open on level ground it catches my head. I am seeking some longer air shocker support legs, just to raise the door two inches more.
Another mod for third gen cars is firmer seats. The standard seats give you a sore jacksy when travelling from scotland to camargue IMHO.

Nah, although the tailgate hinges up, the rear window still winds down for ventilation/long loads.

How many model variants are there? I know of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen, but are there any others? Also, what is the Overall length, width, and wheelbase of a surf?
