    Hi all

After a wicked Sunday at Devils Pit, i was thinking about making improvements to me surf

    1. Higher the suspension like Linda's and Sumo's....how do i do it???

    2. Better gripping tyres...where the best place to get them????

    3. Fog light is OK

    4. Don't take me screaming kids who play crap music in the car

    5. Have more Hamburgers

    6. Buy a pressure washer (Already Done today )

I thinks thats it, nemore I'll add it to the thread

    Cheers

easiest and cheapest option is a set of remold Mud terrains on white steel 8 spokes, to put for offroad trips.

You'll get 31" tyres under there without any mods.

Adding +2" rear coils, will increase you departure angle avoiding restyling the rear bumper or exhaust pipe so often. Then you can turn the front torsion bars about an 1" to match the back.

2" body lift added to the rear springs will let you get 33" tyres.

You can spend a little more and go straight for a 4"ish suspension lift, but then your road tyres will look a little small, meaning spendiong more cash of bigger tyres, over 33" tyre will upset gearing meaning regearing the diffs to get your acceleration and performance back (of fitting a bigger engine like I did. )

Best bang for your buck is the first option. Bigger tyres increase your breakover angle (hitting the gearbox crossmember, drive shafts) and rear clearance.

Yes.Tony said you had a high rear end

Linda if you look at the line up picture you will see it clearly against the height of my Surf next to you. I have got 31" tyres on at the moment.
