  • Very proud owner!!!

As the weekend was so nice i decided to take my boat out and do some fishing.

The local slipway is not the easiest place in the world to get your boat into the water as a diving club found out on sunday morning.

I dropped me boat in the water no trouble at all .it was low tide and muddy, but the surf took it all in her stride ( i didnt even have to use 4 wheel drive.)

Then as i was parking the trailer i saw a dive club drop their boat into the water (a huge rib) and only using a little old landy. Well i can guess they havent been to the slip before coz they dropped in the water on the wrong side of the slip where the mud was shall we say deep. This landy was up to her axles in mud and was stuck.I stood there and chuckled and waited .........................
and waited.................(tide was coming in) then they asked if i could help get the landy out with a tow.I politly obliged and pulled the landy out without any trouble.I did put it in 4 wheel drive just to make sure.

I was so chuffed( first time i really had to use the 4 wheel drive)

And Trev you will like this!!, she got covered in mud so i thought she could keep it on for a while.
I always work better wet .

Its why I became a plumber!!!

It's in the air, keep an eye on that thread, hopeing can get dan to do an impromptu plains job, or perhaps we could have another go at the Andover green lane run.

That's funny- we went fishing with Surf and boat too, on the Warwickshire Avon. What a corking day! Nice & hot, caught loads of fish. Surf towed the boat without problems (as usual).
