  • Central Locking

I have a 1991 Hilux Surf ssr-x and all the time that I have had it the central locking has only worked from the drivers door. Is this normal or should it also work from the passenger door?

Love the new site - thanks to all those involved in the move.

You guys use the key to lock the door????????

I've never used the key since we've had the 4Runner, Hell, it might not even fit! Remote rules!

often forget to, left all the windows open Friday night. was nice and cool in the morning though.

The locks are so worn, locked the keys in the other week, got in with my Nova key!

Got the perfect anti theft device, no power steering and 16" wide tyres! who needs a steering wheel lock! plus the LPG cut off switch makes a good anti theft device

Rumour has it there arn't many key combinations on early Toys, something like a 1 in 6/8 chance another Toyota key will fit.

Was quite surprised my surf key didn't even fit in the lock.
