I purchased, after much searching, a graduated burgundy sun strip for my burgundy Surf. I read the destructions carefully. Cleaned the inside and the outside of the windscreen with copious amounts of detergent. Cut to shape, sprayed inside of windscreen with the soapy water solution. Started to peel off the backing and accidently lowered the drivers window, with my elbow on the switch, causing a gust of wind to fold the sun strip in half, adhesive to adhesive and I tore the bl**dy thing trying to get it apart.
I binned the £4.50 worth of sun strip and decided to clean my glass. I had trodden in some dogs poo and it was all along the side steps and on the mud mats/pedals. All sorted after much scrubbing and the truck smells of pine disinfectant.
