  • Flux Connector

Our local naval helicopter base had an open evening this week. As I was crawling over a SeaKing I noticed a hatch on the fuselage that said something like "Caution Flux Connectors Inside".

Not Capacitors - but close huh?

Well, I was very tempted - they are the Holy Grail after all . But there were some very serious military types hanging around.

Do we have any aircraft fitters amongst us who can shed any light?

The flux capacitor was a three legged device with the flashy bits headding for the centre, this only kicked in at 88MPH.
Personally I prefered the little gidgit that sat next to it and looked like a multi channel linear level meter.
            Very pretty!!
Think I might try to recreate the interior inside my surf.
Give me something to do for the weekend!!
