Noisy steering on full lock? advice?

I'm not the most mechanically minded person in the world, and wanted some advice on my '92 SSRX steering.

When the steering is on full left or right lock (usually when pulling in or out of a parking space) I get a noisy as hell 'creaking', when the motor moves. Never happens any other time, only from when moving from stationary on a full steer lock on the wheel.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be. It don't sound too healthy to me :-/

If it is a creaking noise then I would suspect suspension bushes. If it is more of a banging noise then I would suspect the steering stops.
