  • Terry Pratchett Discworld

As I have said in the other post, I am trying to find some hardback books,
    Namely these.....
    Discworld Books:
    The Colour of Magic
    The Light Fantastic
    Equal Rites
    Mort
    Sourcery
    Wyrd Sisters
    Pyramids
    Guards! Guards!
    Eric
    Moving Pictures
    Reaper Man
    Witches Abroad
    Small Gods
    Lords and Ladies
    Soul Music
    Wintersmith
    Thud

If anyone has them at a reasonable price, I may be tempted!
Thats a lot of surf trains to the middlands though!!

I can do Witches Abroad and Soul Music. Make me an offer if you're interested.
Soul Music came from a book club but I assume it's the same as the original.

There seems to be a correlation between TP reading and Surf owning.

I've collected TP since the Colour of magic. I guessed Chillit was a fan because of his references to dried frog pills...................but seems many more are just as daft as me....

Tony's a massive fan and has tried to get me converted, but I just cant get into them at all, which is odd as its the kind of thing I normally love!!

I was introduced to TP and Discworld about 12 years ago by a guy at work. I quickly read the first book, and subsequently went out and bought all the others. I've been buying the hardbacks in the last few years, so I've got the recent ones in HB (not for sale ), but the older ones are PB and I wouldn't mind getting them in HB too.

Has anyone been reading the 'Science of Discworld' books? I read and enjoyed the first one immensely. I read it straight after reading Steven Hawkins 'A Brief History of Time' and I reckon the two books complement each other quite well. I found the science bits of the second one really boring but the story was ok. Haven't gotten round to reading the third one yet.

I've tried to get loads of people to read them. People tend to love them or loathe them.

If that is the end of the world, bring it on!
