Ah good old ebay????

Gents,
Just seen this on ebay:
4 runner
Now it looks really nice, and I am very interested in it but I have a few questions which start to make me wonder if anything this guy is saying is correct.
The ad says:
Toyota Original fully Adjustable Roof Rack
Toyota original rear spoiler
Abs
Safety Belt Pretensioner
Folding Side Mirrors
Now I dont think any of these are true in which case is any of the advert true. If he does have all these extras, then why cant we get them?

its just me being sniffy about it, but i cant imagine why i would want to sell my car on ebay if its straight.. the only bonus is the mug magnet* attributes of the site..
as for reasons to buy off their site....?
might as well go to the auctions at the docks... odds of a good one are about the same..



*i am of course not infering that anyone here who has bought or sold a car on ebay is a mug or villan. i am absolutely certain that a lot of the cars on there are perfect. as their adds say. ahem. sorry.

AFAIK only the 3rd Gens have ABS

The cheaky mowfo, saying that "Not A Those Cheap Import"
Anyone who has brought a 2.4 on the K plate will know it is not cheap!!
Maybe not when you first buy one, but it soon breaks the bank!!
My wing mirrors had Impact restriction, they were on the back seat cos it fell off!!

Im just about to put my surf on e-bay

Nothing wrong with it as far as i know, ive brought 2 surfs and 4 boats from ebay and never had any problems.

I use e-bay first to sell because id rather spend 15 mins on computer,£7 in listing fees and then see what happens. If it not sell then it will go in autotrader at £65 and local paper at £15.

Looking at prices me thinks the bottom as dropped out of surf market ,well secondhand car market typical , hoping to get £3000 for my k plate 2.4,with 78000 km on clock.

What you lot think., am i hoping too much.

The text in the ad is just annoying! Show me some pics and give me the facts! I hate all the other bull, that every other surf/4runner has as standard. why not list... engine, 4 wheels, axle, etc!!!!!!



Its Ok though. Someone's just put far to much effort into selling it.
