Did you ever get round to doing the wooden dash mod?

I did this on my 74 range rover, It was straight forward really as the surfaces were flat. The edges are done by masking off and painting prior to 2k Laquer being applied this method is was used on early rolls royce etc. I havn't paid much attention to the surf dash, however, you got me thinking now, I'll take a look and get back if you like. Might even do it myself.
