There are the 4 types that can be configured

    TomTom Wireless GPS
    TomTom Cable GPS
    Other Bluetooth GPS
Other Cable NMEA GPS - this one requires various Ports to be configured (USB, ifrared etc.)
Using other cable NMEA unable to configure it until you start to move then it finds the device and all is well! Its on a Medion PDA that used to run medion navigator

Try the medion websites for info
: USA: http://www.medionusa.com/ - seems to be best for info as usual

Emailed Medion support before i got TT5, they were less than useless and offered no updates for their PDAs!!

Tried the TT receiver and it is not recognised, may be just medion that is not happy with TT?? A friend has an earlier PDA of Medion and is having the same problems with his. Maybe our copy of TT5 is not all its cracked up to be? As i said as soon as you start to move it bursts in to life.

          Dear Mr Marky

I can confirm that TOM TOM navigation will work on our products.

I am afraid that we do not provide map updates as such, however I can
          offer some advice.

There are software packages that are available that will run on any
          Windows CE based system.

These packages provide you with the necessary software and maps and act
as a replacement to the Medion Navigator. With most software comes the
optional subscription packages. These subscriptions will enable you to
obtain map and software updates. Of course, these optional services
would require you to pay fees either monthly, quarterly or anually to
          gain access.

Doing a simple search on an Internet search engine will provide you with
details of such systems and their availability.

I hope this information has been useful to you. If you require any
further advice or information on our PDA's then please do not hesitate
to contact us on the below number.
