went to a mountain bike race yesterday - in Fetteresso forest near Aberdeen.
the parking area is in a great 4x4 playground, gravel and sand pit with lots of pits, climbs and tricky sections. So i thought i would have a play, put it in 4x4 low range and went up one of the steeps,
I was suprised how much wheel spin there was,
got to top and remebered - I hadnt engaged the front manual hubs.... DOHHH...
But i am amazed it got up in 2wd - but relieved I didnt trash the back axle by driving it in LR without front hubs engaged.
Afterwards I locked hubs and had some non-wheel spin fun!!
