  • Phew..
    Was worried for a moment there.

    I find T cut put on with a damp cloth, rubbing in the direction of the scratches, then remove the Tcut with mer (Primaraly because it is such a bitch to get off), the re-polish with Meguars liquid gold gets the scratches out and shines it up for a couple of months.

    Nb the GRP finishers at the marina recon I should use T Cut for metallic paint, as it is a softer compound and removes less of the lacquer.

    Best of luck, and any other shiny tips appreciated.

            • What you keep to yourself is that thhe mud is only on their to keep the paint from being bleached by the sun!

              • About the T-cut for metallic paint.. I use that on mine an' it polishes up a gudden. you're right though it is a b*^$"!d to get off before polishing. also for you shiners out there, they do a wax for metalic paint too. Looks awsone in the sun.
