Petrol Surf

I've been offered the opportunity to buy a 3ltr V6 petrol surf. Are these reliable I don't want to repeat same probs I have with my 2.4 TD.

Read through this thread on yotatech All these guys have the 3.0 petrol. I have it in mine and haven't had a lick of trouble in 105K.

Is it definately a Hilux Surf or is it a UK 4runner?

Well I can't comment on the longevity of the 3.0 V6, but one things for sure, after driving Joeys V6 I fell in love with it. You will not be dissappointed with the performance...

95K on my V6 - if you do get a petrol you may want to consider LPGing it as they are rather thirsty but even so they perform well and sound bl**dy wonderful!!

Hi Rusty, It's definately a Surf. Can come with LPG conversion. Might take him up on the offer as I cannot bear the slow performance of my 2.4 anymore. Cheers guys
