Ok i know about the egr mod and how to do it.... so what does this guy sell do and how does it work, it says in the ad that its nothing to do with disconecting the egr so what is it

Its probably a technicality and he's right you dont take out the EGR but you do prevent it from working
Maybe we should all ask questions

i'm guessing he just jams a small bearing in the end of the vacuum pipe... same as folding it over and tieing it with a cable tie.

It's quite simply a ball bearing (6mm dia) which is force down the egr actuation pipe and then the pipe is reconnected to the egr to stop seal it.
I went to a car boot fair and bought a tub of 2000 plastic balls (BB shot for kiddies BB guns) for £1, popped one up my hose (steady) and saved myself £4.99. Trouble is I'll HAVE to buy a BB gun now to dispose of the rest!!!
