Gus the 4runner had MOT today, first of my ownership, and passed with flying colours!!
Guy said he was very pleased with the vehicle and interested in it (he owns and works on landys) and could see that I had been working on it, adding new parts etc. And all he said was maybe another coat of waxoyl underneath before next winter.
Well chuffed as I have been dreading this day for a month or so...
As I reckon the front end suspension is a bit dodgy - poss worn wishbone bushes/torsion arms, and I thought the steering box worm gears are a bit worn - but no mention of either!
So thanks to all the people on here who have answered my queries over the last year and given me info on repairs!
another year till the next MOT!
Andy
