Pajero Roof Rack on Surf ?

Will a Pajero Roof Basket of the aluminium type fit on a surf ?
Can it be moded to fit if not ?

Saw one in a scrappy and want it...mmmm...

my guess is it will be much too wide, my roofrack from my Paj os a good foot too wide for the surf.

A thought though - is your an aluminium safari basket ?

Marky - I would domate but its too much money to be wrong, then I'd have to sell it on again ! Rather be right first time....if possible.

Yip - you are right guys - the one in the scrappy is 1200 wide and my surf roof is 1000 between channels. 1100 to roof edge....
