Remembered someone recently asking about rpm at various speeds for the surf .I was out for a spin today & noted these down.I drive a 2.4td & where possible I tried to get a reading on a straight flat stretch of road.
I have rounded them all up to the nearest 100rpm,all readings in kmh.

speed - 4th gear -----------5th gear

45kmh - 1500rpm
60kmh - 2000rpm --------- 1700rpm
75kmh - 2400rpm --------- 2100rpm
80kmh - 2200rpm
90kmh - 3000rpm --------- 2400rpm
105kmh - 3400rpm --------- 2800rpm
110kmh ------------------- 3000rpm
120kmh - ------------------3300rpm
