Leather Interiors

Has anyone got any experience of having a leather interior fitted to their Surf?

Thinking of getting the seats and door cards etc. done and would be interested to hear on anyones experiences / costs.

I had my other car (mitsi FTO) fitted with leather when I bought it. I got it done through Knights of Newcastle who either have a leather chap on site or have an affiliation with a leather fitter:

It cost about £1000 for front and rear seats and the two door cards and that included full fitting and collection/delivery of the bits (I took off and re-fitted the bits). It was an absolute peach of a job, and good quality leather too, still looks great after 3 years of regular use.

I would expect a surf to be more than that (you have 4 door cards for a start) and the back seats are a larger area and you have 4 seperate headrests so its a more complicated job.

any upholsterer should be able to do it... i know a good bloke in newbury, but i guess that wouldn't help!... he collects free locally too!!
