Wasn't there a letter that we had as a sticky, that was useful to have in the glove box to show PC Plod if he enquired?

Mine ran sweet as a nut with a 50-50 mix but was a &*%^^$ to start even in the summer, I'd thin it with white spirit/petrol beforehand just to be on the safe side, should save flattening your batteries. Clean oil in asda last week was as pricey as diesel, £3.57 for 3 lt so I don't think its worth it at that price, don't know what makro/costco are doing it at though but since they cottoned on to the fuel thing everywhere put the prices up. That was when you had to register but now there is no need for it unless you use over the 2500L

I use my truck for business and claim the oil cost in my a/c's so if you work for yourself?? but you need to check that the seals in your fuel pump etc will tolerate the oil if it is not a toyota....forums are a good way to find out

Tesco Veg oil and Sunflower oil are both on a 'Buy 3 for £3' at the moment.

any veg oil....the cheapest-and if you plan on putting 15 ltrs of diesel you can put the same amount of veg oil in the winter, in the summer you can use just veg..........you may find that doing 2 pre heats will help starting
