They made it by 9:30 and got fed Bacon Butties!!

Bullet is now on the way south towing a trailer with a nice grey 2.4 on the back - so look out for a 2 surf convoy and give them a toot and a wave!!!!

Bullet's nearly back to Basingstoke!! 613 miles so far and Tony's having trouble keeping her within the legal limit!!

And for anyone with worries about towing with an automatic 3.0TD - She towed a car trailer all the way up, and towed another surf all the way back, with standard radiator, without any trouble at all.

I love this car!

619 miles, 2 1/2 tanks of Derv, left 3am, got back 4pm ish. No aches or pains, from me or the car.

For all the forum worriers...300+miles non-stop towing another Surf and big trailer, standard auto box, standard rad, no extra tranny cooler, god knows how old tranny fluid, 60mph all the way (apart from roundabouts!!! ) and air con on most of the way back! She's as good as gold.
