  • Engine Number

Browsing the forums it appears Surf don't have VIN plates per se. Some cars have a bulkhead plate with a chassis number on it, and some have a number on the chassis in the drivers side front wheel-arch, but can some one tell me where the engine number can be found on the actual engine - it's a 3.0 TD - 96 model. Should this number also be on the Bulkhead plate?

When registered in the UK - which numbers do the DVLA put on the V5?

I'm trying to check the authenticity of the car.

    Thanks

    Vincent

My v5 says "number unknown" never looked for it on the engine but i'll make a point of it now.
Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

Most dealers cant be arsed to find it so they put unknown, but it should be near the top of the block right hand side (passenger).
