When I click on certain web sites instead of getting a picture I just get a box with a white square and a red X in it, a good example is http://alt.tnt.tv/games/thedoors/.

Not always had this problem but cannot remember what I've loaded or adjusted that would cause this.

That site just has a Flash movie in the centre of the page... you could try reinstalling your Flash plugin: http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer

I'm not sure what would be stopping Flash from working then.

Try looking on your internet options > security tab - if it's set high that might be preventing plugins working.

Check that in your internet options - adndvanced - multimedia that you have all the ticks in the right boxes.

All boxes are ticked, also in security it will not let me set it below medium, is this normal.

Check any Firewall Software [XP SP2 or 3rd Party such as Norton]. Deslect the show image placeholders in the multimedia section [Internet Options - Advanced]

Make sure you have the latest Flash player and codecs.

Make sure you have the latest Flash player and codecs. Uninstalled it and reloaded flash 7, still the same.
Deslect the show image placeholders in the multimedia section DONE THAT.
