  • Surf has gone to a new home.

After sitting in the carport for many years, waiting for me to get it back on the road, I have sold it for $500.00. Didn't want it to go to the wreckers. Time has caught up with me and I didn't have the time or been healthy enough to fix it. It turned into far bigger job than I could handle. Best vehicle I have ever owned I think.

Hi Nev long time no post for me! Couldn't remember my log in details and life gets in the way now!
Sorry to hear about the Surf and your health troubles. I found the forum again while searching for ECU problems as I'm having rough idle knocking on my 185.

Sad to hear of your health issues, Nev. What've you replaced the Surf with?

Nothing for a long time, but now have a Hyundai Getz. It needs a new timing belt, but I hope it lasts until I am healthier. Going through a tough time right now.

Nice to hear from other members here.

Just noticed that it's 23 years since I joined this forum. Hope there's still many Surf owners still around, who will find info here helpful. It was sad to see the Aussie forum disappear a few years ago.
